DIVING IN LAS COLORADAS, LANZAROTE

In the immense sandy area there is a wall under which a cornice that hides a sea of ​​life is generated.

Pooches, abbots, horse mackerel, moray eels, pejeperros, giant anemones, cleaner shrimps, bucios or octopi are some of the species that we can admire looking under the cornice. Enjoying the simplicity of this dive and the pleasure of diving with total safety makes us aware that there are many reasons to call the Canary Islands “Fortunate Islands”.

Two routes are suggested that have in common the rock arch as a starting point. From here, an alternative is to follow the veril leaving the wall on the right shoulder, while the other path is in the opposite direction, leaving it on the left. The shapes of the rocks seem carved and are very different in each of the two dives.

This place will not leave us indifferent when we accumulate more experience, for its simplicity and comfort. It will also be very interesting when we have little experience because they are quite shallow waters.
